Cultural / Context information for the jury

Today, it's the influencers who lead the world. And they are all on the lookout for ever every more exotic and interesting portraits of themselves. We reasoned int he age of space exploration we're about to go into, they will, be the ones first up, and the first pictures beamed back this time, wont be grainy black and white shots this time - it will be full colour, full attitude, full pout and full fashion - what we have basically become accustomed to on earth. So when OPPO launched their new Reno - a phone with a super advanced camera and features that even on earth would feel like alien tech - we reasoned we'd show a glimpse of the future.

Tell the jury about the art direction.

Oppo wanted an eye catching campaign to appeal to the new generation of GEN-Z influencers. So we designed pictures which we felt they would take on a new planet having arrived to boost their instagram following on earth. Dripping with sultry poses and to the backdrop of different discoveries they made and places they live on this new planet: finding water - unearthing an alien relic, placing their flag - and chilling in their base at night.
