Welcome to the Future celebrates humanity’s many achievements through time, before addressing the challenges we face and then calling on the world to come together to create a better future for us all. Using compelling cinematic visuals and slam poetry narration, the film travels the world to capture the great, the good, the young, the old, the innovators and the learners – all of us in fact who have an innate desire to do and to be better. It inspires the audience to reflect on just how far we have come as humans, how far we have yet to go and how we can witness the brilliance of all that achievement and more at Expo 2020 Dubai, The World’s Greatest Show.

The Slam Poetry was the driving force of this film and the visuals had to elevate the message without competing with the VO and music composed by Phillip Sheppard. There were many different elements to orchestrate in this film. Portraits, scenes, costume design, stock footage, motion graphic, UI, animation, stills, timelapse, and orchestrating four different units in four different countries. The intense pace to bring all these together as one film required a specially adapted and fluent editor. the collaboration the director and editor's the masterful editing created a continuous motion of scenes, enhanced by graphic elements to create energy and drive the message home .
