Write a short summary of what happens in the film

Careem, Egypt's largest ride-hailing app, wanted to capitalize on the African Cup of Nations. The film is about two friends sitting in a car going through the absurd (and obviously impossible) scenario of how the Egyptian team could win the Cup. This one stood out in light of all the overly-positive overly-optimistic ACN films running at the time.

Cultural / Context information for the jury

Put nicely, Egypt’s team was less than mediocre that year. And our chances of winning the ACN (a tournament we won six times before), were looking bleak. Needless to say, Egypt is a nation obsessed with football, and historically our football success has always been tied to absurd football scenarios. It’s always - this needs to happen, for this happen, for us to qualify to the world cup.

Tell the jury anything relevant about the cinematography.

We wanted to shoot the entire film during magic hour, which proved extremely challenging. But giving a constant look and feel to this seemingly one-shot film, Was key to bringing across the feeling of two friends in a car heading to a football game.
