Write a short summary of what happens in the film

the film opens on an airline hostess, in a dreamy mood, she begins walking through passengers from Business class to Economy. On her journey, she encounters different historical characters, like Mozart, Goethe, Da Vinci, etc.. each character represents a different European country, in Economy class, the characters become groups of people with cultural stereotypes. While waltzing between them to reach the tail of the plane, she interacts with group leaders helping them with their travel. when she finally reaches the end of the plane, and turns back to close the curtains, we realize we were in her dreams all along, and the plane passengers now belong to the modern days. the encounters portray the different European countries the airlines now have direct flights to.

Cultural / Context information for the jury

the characters that represent different cultures are internationally known, the first character is Goethe (germany), we then move to Da Vinci (Italy), a clock-master (Switzerland), roman gladiators (Italy), woman with chocolate (Switzerland), Mozart (Austria), and finally to the Bavarians.

Tell the jury about the casting process.

The casting specifically was crucial to the film, as the the concept of the film is all based on understanding which countries the characters represent. The challenge was to find the look-alikes: Goethe, Da Vinci, Mozart. we casted for these in London, Estonia and Dubai, the rest of the countries were represented mainly by groups. Mozart's orchestra were to be real musicians, the Bavarian band was the most challenging to find, as the instruments they used back then rarely exist nowadays, and finding the dancers who can still do the dance took a lot of research, casting and rehearsing. the hostess needed to look Middle Eastern, ending on a Saudi family, so our casting then stretched to Dubai, Beirut, Riyadh and Jeddah.
