Results and Effectiveness

In participating restaurants, Bon Appetit Dining discount usage rose by almost 42%. In addition, Emirates NBD credit card applications during the promotion saw a 7% increase.

Creative Execution

We designed simple reminders of the Bon Appetit program and branded hundreds of restaurant plates with our message. As diners tucked into their meals, our message was slowly revealed, bite by bite.

Insights, Strategy and the Idea

While many people have an Emirates NBD credit card, not many people are aware of the Bon Appetit program that gets them 30% discount at over 600 restaurants. We realized that there’s no better place or time to remind people of that fact than at restaurants, right before they paid for their meal.
