Brief Explanation
With test-drives of the Scirocco R dipping alarmingly we had to do something about the numbers. Instead of waiting for people to show up at the dealerships, we drove the Scirocco R home to them. Online. With a drag racing game we challenged users to beat the Scirocco R and experience Volkswagen’s flagship speedster for themselves.
The game achieved a high click-through rate of 4%. Volkswagen also saw a wunderbar number of test-drives booked. And believe it or not, at the end of the campaign, the Scirocco R was sold out at all dealerships across the UAE.
