Insight:
With a 13.5% surge in property prices over the past year, Dubai is the world’s strongest housing market. People are on the lookout again for better housing, yet they are oblivious to how labourers live in camps.
Task:
Helping Hands is a local charity that wanted to expose the harsh living conditions of labourers.
How? In a country where media is monitored.
Idea:
By going undercover. We posted false luxury villa ads on one of the region’s biggest housing portals - GNADS4U.com. As home-seekers clicked for more images, we shocked them with a reality they never knew existed in Dubai.
