The Brief
BKP Music wanted a nice way to wish their customers season's greetings, instead of sending boring cold text. Target audience was BKP customers, mainly advertising and design agencies.
Describe how the promotion developed from concept to implementation
Yes, Christmas carols do have a direct link to the holiday spirit, but we needed a strong visual element that links directly with the services BKP provide.
The sound wave is not only the most common visual sound design companies deal with, but also is a very recognizable element. We thought of isolating that visual to symbolize something everyone relates to during Christmas time: The Christmas Tree.
Describe the success of the promotion with both client and consumer including some quantifiable results
This mini campaign received incredible acclaim. For almost every EDM and greeting card sent, BKP received a call or email back, describing how thoughtful and creative that mnemonic visual was.
Explain why the method of promotion was most relevant to the product or service
BKP customers, who are basically advertising, design, and media-related companies, are very familiar with editing and music software. This is why we decided to imitate a music wave timeline, while sending a cute holiday greeting.
