Brief Explanation
Reposition smart as the ideal city car for young executives.
Idea: rediscover Beirut in a smart fortwo.
A competition was developed where participants got the car and iPhone to rediscover the city and through a geo-tagging smart app, share their experiences online. 422 locations were unlocked.
A Facebook page, Facebook ads, mobile site adaptation and car branding were created.
Results: attracted more than 32,000 online users. Around 2,200page interactions/day. Compared to 2010, sales increased by 54%. The Unlock Beirut Map was launched - updated by smart drivers - pinpointing consumer-generated discoveries for everyone to use online or on the go.
