Brief Explanation
When media coverage of the drought in the Horn of Africa began to decline and 13 million people continued to face starvation, we came up with the concept of Listen. Help. by teaming up with WFP and international music star Sami Yusuf. Each download of Sami Yusuf’s song ‘Forgotten Promises’ provides food for 2 hungry people.
The website highlights the power of music and makes it easy for users to help. With the cooperation of Sami Yusuf and WFP, we not only brought attention to an ongoing problem, but provided a solution to help those who have been forgotten by many.
