Brief Explanation
SCB wanted to compete in the cluttered car insurance category. The Random Road is a driving game controlled by tweets. When someone tweets about Zombies, one crosses your path. Tweets about everything from trends to taxi drivers transform into obstacles. Car insurance benefits are woven into gameplay, showing how random things can happen at the speed of a tweet. The game reminds players to be ready for anything – with the right insurance. It takes a U-turn on convention, creating genuine engagement and captive audiences. Online display ads drove people to the site, and outdoor stunts activated people’s attention even further.
