Brief Explanation
The challenge was to create a highly engaging user experience with only 40kb to play with. We hit upon the idea of positioning Ho Chi Min City as an exotic jewel of the Far East, shrouded in mystery and awaiting discovery. We brought this thought to life in the banner as a bank of mist covering the content. The user was then invited to turn on their webcam and wave away the mist to reveal a glorious image of Ha Long Bay at sunrise, with the morning dew still wet on the dragon boats' sails.
