Brief Explanation

The Asian population is the key target audience for Afia sunflower oil. Since the Cricket World Cup was around the corner and this population has a strong affinity towards the game, the brand wanted to leverage the product attribute of 'Light on stomach' while connecting it to the cricket frenzy. The commercial depicts a moment of a cricket fan watching the game while munching a snack. When there is an exciting point in the game, all he does is lift his index finger to express his excitement, completely opposite to what a cricket fan would normally do. This, to suggest that he's too full to express his excitement as a result of the heavy food he's just eaten. And drive home the point that he should try Afia Sunflower Oil, that's light on stomach.
