Write a short summary of what happens in the film

In the film we see many people sharing their dreams, achievements, efforts. These are the visionaries building and re-thinking our world, and they are all going to meet each other at EXPO. So, with this film, we wanted to celebrate them and their spirit, their humanity and how they chase their dreams and visions. Artists, activists, common people, scientists, dreamers, athletes, the young and old, musicians, dancers, astronauts. They are all connected in their minds and hearts. They are the living embodiment of the human spirit that is pushing forward the world.

Cultural / Context information for the jury

Dubai EXPO 2020 is happening in a country always looking to the future. A country built by people able to think beyond any limit, from a scorching desert to the lack of any resource except the oil. Despite this, they are "People without limits" because they learnt how to overcome any obstacle. The same kind of people, but from the rest of the world, are heading together to EXPO 2020, to stay connected and build a better world for tomorrow, also able to overcome the current limitations around how we live. This is a pure celebration of their spirit and the best place to broadcast them is on the main symbol of EXPO 2020: the dome.

Tell the jury anything relevant about the cinematography.

Most of the scenes are comparable to paintings with people at the centre. The cinematography challenge was to glorify the people of the film, rather than the locations. We searched for more hidden and unusual Dubai spots where we could capture intimate fragment of their visions, making them epic and memorable, while also shooting them wider, because a frame is not able to capture the entire world they are bringing with them while still remaining intimate. To reach that we mixed hand held sequences with carefully plotted tracking shots. The use of lights was very different from one scene to another. Some scenes were shot outdoor during night on the beach with very subtle lights, other time just using the light scene of a theatre.
