The film is a powerful compilation of the videos recorded from some of our clients, who opted to use the ass-on on they life insurance policy. Emotional, human, breathtaking, the film showcases the most beautiful messages, saved in the cloud and owned by the policy beneficiary as NFTs, the words that they would say to their loved ones in case of the unexpected event of their passing away.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
Dubai is one of the best cities in the world to live in: calm, safe, profitable. Is the place where people live so comfortable that they may never think in getting life insurance. To promote our life insurance policy in a more human way, we decided to offer them what no other policy can: love, hope, joy. By recording the most beautiful messages, they saved their last words to the ones they love.
Please tell us about the challenger brand and how the work challenged / was different from the brand's competitors
Life insurance uptake is low in the Gulf, accounting for just 0.21% of GDP, versus an average of 4.5% in OECD countries. Insurance offers protection and helps de-risk our lives, but there is a big deficit in awareness and incentive. Gulf societies often expect the government to step in when a family is faced with financial peril after life loss. NASCO changed this dynamic and gave a personal incentive for people to act now. It deeply shifted how agents approached the sales conversation about life insurance, driving a 35% increase in opt-ins and a 67% increase in inquiries.
