24% of people say they haven't read a book in full or in part in the recent past. And that’s flushing the publishing industry down the toilet. People say their rushed lives just don’t leave time for books anymore, but the reality is everyone (CEOs and world Presidents included) has 5-10 minutes to read: the time when we go to the bathroom.
Write a short summary of what happens in the ambient or digital execution or campaign.
When going to the bathroom, people were impacted by the book shelves and the books themselves. As they picked one of the copies and brought them into the cubicle, they successfully transformed an idle few minutes into a literary experience where they most probably rediscovered the pleasure of reading and realized that they should read more. Printed on toilet paper, the books seamlessly fit in the bathroom experience while also establishing an ironical standpoint as to what direction the publishing industry is headed. It’s simple, efficient and straight to the point in the sense that it gets people to read a book without taking them out of their way.
