Brief Explanation
A brand film for a Loyalty & Rewards program from a Telco was a challenge, such programs are not unique, a host of advertisers are competing for customers attention with the same message.
While we wanted to promote our Rewards Program, we wanted to make customers laugh and remember us as other than a Telecommunication company.
A moment of silliness inspired how to promote a buy-1 get-1 free deal, when we hit on the fact that this deal is so good, it couldn't just be shared with just "any" friend. It has to be reserved for that ideal bestie, so close to us, they are actually more perfect than an imaginary friend. And a pair of cast aways on a deserted island was the perfect setting for the story.
Did "Wilson" Inspire us? Yes, definitely, as this was a cinema deal and we knew movie buffs would appreciate the Tribute.
