Brief Explanation

Art Dubai Portraits is a film series that provides a short perspective into the lives and workspaces of international, regional and UAE based artists that are connected to the fair through its programming or participating galleries. Bar the logo at the end, each film is unique and avoids a pattern of questioning. They are formed around the artist's personality and the available environment. There are two parts to the same release: one under a minute and one under four minutes. Under a minute is a stand-alone piece that serves the shorter viewing times of Instagram. It leads the audience to the Art Dubai website and the longer 'under four minutes' film. Largely, material from the short version does not go into the long version and it does not serve as a trailer or teaser.
