Brief Explanation
Ever wondered what ads would look like if products could speak for themselves, to try and convince viewers to buy them? These set of ads are exactly that!
Here several furniture and home accessories appear in their own ads, talking about value propositions like warranty, best price and easy payment options.
In the process, we encounter star tantrums from ‘star’ products who feel they should be getting more screen-time in the ad, over-excited newbies facing the camera for the first-time, some products who are so good that they get sold, mid-way through the ad and so on.
Clearly, each product, rather ‘stars’ in these ads come with their own quirks, agendas and dialogues.
There has been an effort in these ads to give the whole impression of an ad within an ad, by starting with shots of the clapboard and sometimes ending with the director shouting ‘Cut! Cut!’
