Brief Explanation

NESCAFÉ Cappuccino was losing out to a competitor whose instant cappuccino claimed to be the real deal – an authentic Italian cappuccino. Only thing: they weren’t. We created and launched NESCAFE Cappuccino Italiano, a true Italian cappuccino. Now if only we could get our target group to spot the fake Italian (competitor). So we created a social-experiment-ish stunt film where, in a casting session, Lebanese men were auditioning to pass off as Italian. They fail hilariously, because you can’t fake Italian. The film ends with the director calling off casting session when she discovers that NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Italiano is so good that it doesn’t really need an ad.
