The Campaign
With Human trafficking on the rise in Lebanon especially after the Syrian refuge crises, an awareness TVC was made to highlight the issue. because although Lebanon has signed and endorsed the UN convention against transnational organized crime and the protocol to prevent, suppress and punish human trafficking, the country has managed to find its way into the world’s blacklist.
The Lebanese are big consumers deeply driven by fashion and the latest trends. The way they look and what they own is of the utmost importance. In fact, in such a small country and for a population of 4M, there area countless number of shopping malls. The TVC camouflages our message in fashion ads. After all, these ads use people to sell products. In this case, it was the people that were being sold in black markets, just like any clothing item.
