The Campaign
Olympique de Marseille fans are known for their passion and loyalty to their team. Every moment marking OM’s history is crucial to them and especially its best moments. With this in mind we selected the most viewed match footage on YouTube and made fans watch the best moments of OM. We aimed to create a unique experience to re-live these moments by combining a brand new technology with fans. And that’s how we started searching for the strongest heartbeats amongst fans.
To take this experience to the next level we also created an Olympique de Marseille branded space in the Marseille Airport and surprised fans with appearances from football stars Jérémy Morel and Nicolas N'Koulou.
The choice to use a local airport as a public space for the event goes in line with the sponsoring brand Turkish Airlines, highlighting the city as one of its global destinations and at the same time creates a branded entertainment for passengers.
The project attracted more than 500 users on 6 days and reached an important organic media coverage in 5 different countries.
