IKEA is a new phenomenon for almost every Egyptian. Never before has there been a store where Egyptians can visit and buy all they need in one go. The idea that one can leave with their furniture then and there is foreign to all Egyptians. So we had to educate them about the very notion of “flatpack”. So they had to find an effective and simple way to introduce to the Egyptian market that you can take literally ANYTHING in a flatpack box. And what better way to depict this than flatpack-ing an outdoor in order to convey our message.
