Brief Explanation
Create a story that clearly communicates the new irresitibility positioning.
Deliver visuals that take the users into the world of Lay's.
Tackle sub-brands individually and deliver a story for each based on its identity.
The Brief
The objective was to revamp the existing Lay's Arabia website to communicate the new identity of Lay's. Website had to creatively showcase how irresistible Lay's is in every detail, whilst being responsive and animated.
How the final design was conceived
The team focused on creating a story - an intro, a sequence of events, then the result/reward. We were able to deliver outstanding visuals that take users into the world of irresistibility, and into the journey of a potato, starting from land, going through the process to become the irresistible chips that are packed in Lay's. To tackle the various sub-brands of Lay's, each had its own story based on its identity: Forno reflected lightness, Max fought the hunger, Mega fed everyone, stax being a movie companion, and so on.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Since the launch, the websites traffic increased by 30%, with a noticeable number of shares on Facebook.
