Brief Explanation
The main challenge was to change the common behaviour among parents of using adult plasters even for their kids by capturing an insight they can relate to. Our objective was to show them how Band-Aid kids can become an accessory that triggers their imagination and makes small wounds much smoother and fun.
The Brief
Reinforce Band-Aid’s kids range in the market, and generate more awareness.
How the final design was conceived
For children, a small wound is the perfect opportunity to use their imagination and create big stories. We wanted to create a design solution that could portray the insight by showing both the stories the kids are telling and how they really got injured. Each letter was crafted and designed as a key scene to communicate what happened, and to represent the characters in the stories. The illustration styles were chosen and crafted around the personalities of each kid.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
People took notice, liked and shared their own pictures of the typographic posters on social media. The posters that were placed inside generated more demand and a noticeable increase on sales since the first week.
