Brief Explanation

EXPO2020 winner was announced on 27th november 2013 at around 8.30PM(local). In psychographic aspects, the anxiety had been built up among people...as it became spirit of the nation. It was obvious in the media too, as lot of brands released ads of different sizes wishing Dubai's win. Agency knew this pulse and the waited till the last day. In the early hours of the final day we uploaded this creative on Facebook.

The Brief

A Creative poster to support Dubai Government's bid on EXPO2020.

How the final design was conceived

We shared our confidence with people of Dubai and the world, in a chest thumping manner. EXPO...SURE DUBAI!. The typography has been visually divided into two parts. EXPO and SURE DUBAI!, wherein the exclamation mark made as a bond, and full stop after Dubai. The UAE flag positioned on top of World's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, as though giving a top-of-the-world feel to Dubai. The background is subdued to accentuate EXPO and UAE Flag. The sign-off line makes the laurel being given to Dubai. The overall background has been turned grey to accentuate the EXPO blue logo.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

We got an overwhelming support from public through social media.. 34 shares and 165 likes on the same day. Apart from their LIKing, it was our pleasure of being with their hope and victory.. on that big day.
