Brief Explanation
Low-end whiskies available in Africa are cheap in quality and design. Manufacturers generally avoid investing in building brands to maximize profits and enable label switching when product quality issues arise. Al Rama asked us to buck that trend and create a memorable brand and an outdoor campaign to get it noticed.
The Brief
Create an eye-catching and memorable brand for the East African value market for an Indian whisky with no heritage.
How the final design was conceived
The East African liquor market is awash with cheap tipples, many with forgettable names and questionable quality. Crazy Cock whisky is designed to make an entrance and shake the low expectations of value-driven drinkers. A bold brand that believes the masses deserve a brand with personality, an edgy outlook on life and a wicked sense of humour.
