The Brief
Lam Art Gallery is a unique art space in Riyadh showcasing a wide range of Middle Eastern Art Works. They wanted to invite people and art students to the silkscreen exhibition that takes place in the gallery by offering a free one-month course about silkscreen printing and a special discount on silkscreen paintings in order to generate more sales on the paintings, as well encourage them to create their own paintings and display them at the gallery.
but what if people really doesn’t know about that type of art.
Creative Execution
The exhibition at lam art gallery was successful, and the number of the attendants was above the expected.
Hundreds of art lovers were enabled to experiment silkscreen printing and attend the course. 213 paintings were sold, 178 art students participated and attended the course, 323 silkscreen paintings were created by the students and sold at the gallery.
Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective.
We have created a booth where people can print their own invitation cards and get closer to that type of art. This invitation card allows you to attend the silkscreen exhibition and get the benefit of the free course and the special discount on the paintings. We have placed the booth in malls and universities in order to attract maximum number of visitors. The campaign was also promoted through Facebook, blogs, outdoor and a DM invitation card.
