Brief Explanation

Talise wanted to inform their target audience of existing of ‘spa junkies’, the ‘over-worked and underloved’ and ‘detox/rehab’ seekers that there was a new more sophisticated spa experience on offer. The collateral needed to generate awareness and credibility and educate consumers as to the unique benefits of the Talise experience. Branding Talise, and ensuring that the new range of therapies were appropriately understood, has been a significant task. We developed an approach to the identity based on the premise that, with Talise you will leave looking as good on the inside as you do on the outside.

The Brief

The Talise product is distinctive versus regular spa offerings as Talise provides a range of wellness treatments that are administered by a team of experts, practicing traditional and alternative medicine. A fully integrated medical centre and onsite pathology lab ensure that Talise treats the whole body, not just the superficial exterior.

How the final design was conceived

Talise is a spa that applies therapies to rejuvenate from within. Using this information we based the design around the use of microscopic imagery of the human body from the inside. Each of the images is outstandingly beautiful and reflects the promise of a stay or treatment at Talise spa. The entire range of Talise collateral were all designed keeping paramount the objective of revealing “the beauty inside”.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The Talise branding was piloted initially for only one Spa, Talise in Madinat Jumeirah. However, due to the success of the brand’s look and feel in conveying the uniqueness of the Spa offerings, Jumeirah is now rolling the Talise brand out through more of the spa’s in their properties. The Spa at Jumeirah Emirates Towers has now been re-branded Talise and they are opening further Talise Spa’s in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, and Abu Dhabi as well as internationally in Frankfurt, Maldives and Shanghai.
