Brief Explanation

Break clutter in a visual space. Keep it simple.

The Brief

Produce a campaignf for PifPAf All Insect Killer that visually tells the consumers what the product does. Get a low interest category product, top of mind.

How the final design was conceived

The idea was sparked when we were being briefed, the account director said: “Pifpaf All Insect Killer does exactly what the name says... kills ants and spiders. Cockroaches and flies. Etc.” The initial execution - which was a sketch. However, we felt the sketch execution didn’t draw enough eyeballs. So, it became a 3D text cutout. And the art-director decided to go and buy out a stock of playing-clay, ductile wire and and black paint. After 3 months, it made to look like the real thing(s). Well almost. Voila!

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

Initially a small campaign, it has been very appreciated by the client, and now will be rolled out region-wide, as an outdoor and press campaign.
