Brief Explanation

Our challenge was to create a simple business card that could be so much more than a contact number.

The Brief

Manisha’s Kitchen is a home-cooking catering service, preparing home-cooked Maharashtrian delicacies for delivery to homes, offices and parties. The brief was to create a Business Card which reflected the key benefits of the brand - ie. lovingly prepared fresh food and home delivery.

How the final design was conceived

We looked at the tools of Manisha's trade. Chopping boards and Delivery bags proved fertile territory. Our solution was this simple double-sided design idea that captures the home-made essence of the brand with a “Chopping Board” on one side…and the functional delivery service with a “Take-Away Bag” on the other side. The small die-cut was a final touch which helped bring the idea to life.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

Manisha's Kitchen has grown from a 2 woman operation into a 4 woman operation. And the Business Card has been a key tool in the word of mouth spread of Manisha's quality.
