Brief Explanation

We wanted to have an emotionnal impact and we wanted to promise a strong rememeber of your travel in Algeria. We also wanted a logotype that you could understand whatever the language you practice. The heart shape is an arabic calygraphy saying "ALGERIA" for the Arabic countries. Tha colors are the codes for all the landscapes you can find in Algeria, yellow is desert, green is forest, blue is the mediteranean sea and red is the passion.

The Brief

The brieff was to do the new logotype for Algeria that will be used in all tourism campaign all over the world.

How the final design was conceived

we were trying to mix the word Algeria in the language, latin and arabic and we found this very nice calligraphy with the heart. In the commercial Zidane talking about emotions, feelings and remembers as all the campaign is about an emotional journey. emotional = heart n international understanding.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

Ministry of tourism and professioanl of tourism loved it at the first view because 1/ the promise is realistic and based on stong insight 2/ Very distinctive from what propose othee mediterranenan countries "SUN" 3 / the design is modern and soft and can be compare to what propose other countries In the market (most of the time out of Algeria) people like it as it give a modern image with an intelligent idea with this arabic word forming this heart shape
