Brief Explanation

We wanted something that would speak specifically to an art audience rather than the general public.

The Brief

Articulate baboon is a newly opened gallery for Pop and Street Art in the MIddle East. They represent prominent arabic pop artists like Hany Rasheed, Khalid Hafiz and Laila Shawa. To create awareness for the gallery within the art community ,we were asked to design posters to be placed indoors at all other contemporary art galleries.

How the final design was conceived

we spent a lot of time thinking about the rather unusual name of the gallery.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

these posters became an instant hit. with people posting them online. making them their facebook profile. sharing them etc. theres not a person in the egyptian art world today who doesn't know about articulate baboon!
