Brief Explanation
The challenge was to maintain the standards set by 360 Mall’s marketing designs and activities, placing it as a prestigious shopping destination that offers the best international brands and the most luxurious shopping experience. To design artworks that played as interior design elements adding to the existing décor of the mall.
The Brief
360 Mall was introducing more shops, and this was to be announced to the public in the unique style that is the trademark of 360 Mall. It was briefed that the designs should cater to the target audience of 360 Mall (high end consumers) and should help them identify themselves with the mall. The mall was branding empty spaces on each of its levels targeting the garden area, cafes, entertainment, fashion and other areas and to enhance the existing ambience of the interior of the mall that already was modern and contemporary.
How the final design was conceived
It was decided that since the Mall caters mostly to the in-fashion audience in Kuwait, and also the high income group who are familiar with international fashion and style, the designs should reflect the same. Hence the designs were given a modern contemporary fashionable theme that could compete with international fashion trends. The concept of having a forest backdrop in the mall was in line with the environmentally friendly facet of the mall.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The designs received wide appreciation from the shoppers, this was seen when people posed for pictures in front of the hoardings inside the mall. The designs helped the upcoming mall to further identify itself as the modern shopping destination that compares itself to shopping destinations internationally.
