Brief Explanation

The challenge was to create a logo that reflected the nature of the business as a holding company, and since the main clientele of the company was the American army, somehow this had to be communicated.

The Brief

The brief from the client was to create a logo for its holding company. The company was formed as a holding company for a group of subsidiaries that specialized in various aspects of real estate. The company’s core business lied with supplies to the American army.

How the final design was conceived

Beyout in Arabic means ‘Houses’, this was communicated with a bird’s eye view of the different blocks that acted as houses. These blocks also act as the different businesses under the holding company; the varying sizes of the blocks represent the cycles of business and reflect growth. The final design was arrived at with the concept of various blocks acting as the contributors to the holding company together forming a group. The negative space in the logo design created the shape of a star that symbolized the American involvement in the projects.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The logo created very successful brand equity for the company and helped the company establish itself as one of the leaders in its field.
