Brief Explanation
The solution should be developed based on the insight that at this event people get hundreds of business cards, which makes it difficult to associate the card to the person following the event.
The Brief
The brief was to create a simple, creative solution that allowed our CEO to stand out at the annual World Economic Forum, an event attended by thousands of business leaders, selected intellectuals and journalists from around the world. The objective was to make a lasting impression in the minds of potential clients at an event where hundreds of business cards exchange hands
How the final design was conceived
Our idea was to create a simple sleeve to hold the business card. This sleeve was designed with a cutout emphasizing only the letter āiā in ilevel, allowing us to add a personal message communicated in the first person, making it an effective method of differentiating the brand from amongst others at the event.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Within a week following the event, we experienced an increase in calls from potential clients and we received quite a lot of inquiries related to the card and ultimately about what we do. We also had some enquiries regarding implementing the same technique on the business cards of other companies
