Brief Explanation

The brand has never really had a presence in the market and one of our main objectives was to give it a personality. We launched our social media marketing efforts to coincide with the re-launch of the brand in December, and introduced the 'new' Le Senza to the market. A more sassy, sexy brand that went from a lingerie shop to a lingerie destination for the globetrotting lingerista.

The Brief

La Senza Lingerie wanted to have a social media presence in the Middle East so we created a Facebook Fan page and a twitter account for them. But we needed to promote those pages to start getting fans and followers. So we created a social media card - a small card inviting people to have a conversation with us on Facebook & Twitter. We placed these cards in all our La Senza stores to attract our exact target demographic.

How the final design was conceived

The card keeps all the brand values of the new La Senza in mind. It is sassy and cheeky without being offensive. We took our inspiration from one of La Senza's core products, the Double Push-up Bra.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

Since December when we launched the social media campaign, we have over 3,600 fans on Facebook and over 150 followers on Twitter. Not huge numbers by any means, but given the fact that Twitter is still very new to the market, we're quite pleased with the results. These are people who want to be friends or follow us, they have chosen to associate themselves with La Senza voluntarily, and it's a great start.
