Brief Explanation
With the ongoing financial crisis, our audience was lost in a sea of percentage rates being foghorned by fiercely competitive local banks. We decided to avoid this dog-eat-dog approach and focus on what our investors could do with their accumulated interest. This strategy went supernova when we came up with the HSBC Dream Calculator, a new spin on interactive online banners that yields calculation results in pictures, instead of numbers. By initially engaging our audience with an intriguing message displayed on a familiar-looking device, we drew them into a world of possibilities that they wanted to spend more time with.
