The Brief

Avant Communication is a branding and communications solutions provider. We wanted to create a Season's Greetings card to be sent to clients. We wanted to target existing clients as well as new clients. We wanted to remind existing clients about our service, while creating awareness of our company among potential clients. With this card we wanted to tell new clients that they too can celebrate successes if they made use of our branding services.

Creative Execution

This greeting card told clients that it was time to look back on the past year and celebrate their achievements, especially the ones facilitated by their brands. With regards to potential new clients: we simply wanted to plant a seed about our existence and share the idea that they too could taste success if they nurtured their brand. Since the card could be turned into a Christmas decoration it meant that it would be utilised for longer than the average card. The novelty of it also encouraged interactivity with the object for memorability.

Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective.

Avant Communication created a card that unfolded to form a star that could be used as a decoration on Christmas trees. On the inside there were subtle references to business terms such as 'vision' and 'strength' to appeal to the businessmen who are owners or managers of brands.

Results

Avant Communication received favourable responses from clients who told us they actually used the card as a Christmas decoration at their offices. Another client even used it at home. We were able to rekindle relationships with a couple of old clients while we also received new leads.
