Yes the target audience is from the exisiting customers. The DM Piece was develped to launch the new Small Repair Service for Mercedes-Benz.

Creative Execution

The strength of the idea lies in the fact that scratching the card is the same action as scratching the car itself. Moreover; when you scratch the card you reveal the message beneath the scratch telling you how to fix it.

Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective.

People scratch their cars all the time and we decided to use this fact to create a serious of interactive scratch cards. Consumers could scratch the panel on the card making it look as though they had scratched the car itself. Underneath there was a message saying; Scratched your car? Call us for a SmallRepairs Service.

Results

The service center reported a sharp upturn in the number of customers using this service.
