Why is this work relevant for Entertainment?

The film aims to show the persistence and ability of the 2 main characters (Coach Ayman and Tayson) to train kids Kung Fu and play Boxing, regardless of the very poor neighbourhood they live in, Zelzal neighbourhood, that was actually the rescue place for poors after the big earthquake that hit Cairo in 1992. The music clip/ film is showing an interesting case and neighbourhood, with the addition of a great music soundtrack.

Background.

We have produced and post-produced this film, it shows persistence and ability of the 2 main characters to train kids Kung Fu and play Boxing, regardless of the very poor neighbourhood they live in, Zelzal neighbourhood, showing that no circumstances can limit sports.

Describe the creative idea.

The idea of the film was to show the importance of sports, also the very poor neighbourhood, how people struggle yet are persistent regardless of their life circumstances.

Describe the strategy

We aimed to work with the creative team and production team in parallel and to have the cast real persons, this is why it shows like a documentary, but added the music to give an entertaining aspect.

Describe the execution

We started working on this project in November, we finalized it in February, we had the idea ready and took some time in production phase, then the edit took some time as well.

Describe the outcome

We haven't posted it yet, but we are aiming to post it online and on our social media platforms once we finish the awards phase, hopefully it will make it and win! It has been screened at a cinema on the 24th of February 2019 during the trailers at the Zawya art-house cinema in Cairo.
