Brief Explanation

In Dubai, people stay away from the sun for most part of the year. But in the short winter the weather is at its enjoyable best. The Dermatology Department of Aster Hospital saw an opportunity here, encouraging people to step outdoors and make the most of this short sunshine.

Results and Effectiveness

23% increase in appointments. 12,000 media impressions. 5,000 cool giveaways. All in just AED 5,000 (USD 1,361).

Creative Execution

Too much exposure to sun can have adverse effect on the skin. To ensure the safety of our users, we created designs that needed less or moderate exposure. The DIY suntan tattoos clicked instantly with the sun-lovers, while its bookmark shape fit well even in a bikini-string budget.

Insights, Strategy and the Idea

Winters in Dubai see a lot of outdoor activities. The beaches and its shores bustle with residents and tourists, sporting different shades of suntan. Aster created a series of skin-friendly stickers that made beautiful suntan tattoos. An excuse to go out and play, rest assured Aster is there for you.
