Brief Explanation
To show the immense world of opportunities that 3G brings to the Iraqis, we created a moving data cloud that comes from far and invades the cities and the Iraqis’ day to day life. The cloud was constructed entirely with CGI and animated with 3D motion. As the cloud approaches the city, the small particles get revealed as icons reflecting the opportunities. To blend the cloud into the film, all lighting situations were captured through HDRI. The lighting, shadows, refractions and reflection of every move of the cloud and the object were worked to seamlessly integrate in the lighting of the film, its setting and the move of every actor. The compositing was then worked on Fusion and Maya for 3D.
