Brief Explanation
The simplicity of the idea in the storyboard was the hardest to translate into a storyline, the jewelry might have been the purpose of the whole film, yet the emotional human side of the storyboard added so much depth.
With the right Art Direction we were able to identify the right locations, to create dreamy sceneries and to craft the right props showcasing the beautiful jewelry and at the same time creating an emotional bond with viewers.
In order to have a global interpretation we chose a European like locations which helped creating a mysterious atmosphere while adding magic to the story line flaw.
The choice of the sceneries was very important in order to link each scene to a specific occasion (graduation, proposal, wedding, new born) and to have the jewellery at the heart of it.
In order not to steal the show from the exquisite jewellery we decided to go with minimum colors, a combination of white and light purple that could add depth to the scene and showcase clearly every piece.
The props are a combination between 3D and real miniature objects created for specific scenes like the flower bouquet, graduation hat and wedding accessories.
