Brief Explanation

Ramadan is the time for that flow of social gatherings and indulging in ample amounts of delectable food and drinks. It is a time for people to celebrate and share their happiness with their loved ones. Our aim was to tighten Coca-Cola’s bond with its audience even further, and to prove once again just how close Coca-Cola is to the Egyptian consumer. With it’s new campaign “Share a Coke with Your Loved One”, Coca-Cola customized its cans with calligraphed names, nicknames, family titles (brother, mother, sister) and group relations (school bunch, university bunch), motivating and pushing people to buy from 128 personalized cans for them and their loved ones.

Creative Execution

Knowing that music is the most powerful way to develop an emotional connection with consumers, we teamed up with up and coming Egyptian composer and producer Hassan El Shafie to create a young, fresh and catchy song to help introduce our campaign “Share a Coke” in a new and innovative manner that would grasp the attention of a diverse target audience, with a special focus on youth. The lyrics comprised solely of a collection of names and titles masterfully spun into a modern fusion of funk, acid jazz and hip-hop. Our song enticed people to take to go buy a personalized Coca-Cola can to share with their loved one(s). The music is an original score.
