Brief Explanation
In this commercial, every meticulous detail was taken in consideration when it came to art direction.
While depicting the past 160 years of telecommunication history in Egypt and how it affected people’s lives, we had to make sure that the sets, props, hair styles, clothes and its textures all abided to the epoch we portrayed.
Casting was also a very important part of the process, since some historical events recreated involved iconic Egyptians, like Nasser and Sadat. We literally had to comb the country for the perfect look alike.
The result in our opinion was a seamless reflection of moments, some personal while others monumental, that sent the Egyptian viewers on a proud and touching journey.
