Brief Explanation
Postpaid Mobile from STC had become confusing. We needed to launch the company’s four new simplified plans to existing postpaid customers and persuade others to switch. Since new products are often seen as ‘untried’, we branded ours as Tested and Approved Plans from STC. Using online celebrities and zany humor to appeal to Saudi youth, we portrayed a bizarre laboratory, where Mr. X and his crazy scientists tested STC Plans. This innovative approach broke through the clutter and helped achieve 79% of the annual sales target in just five months.
