The seven-minute online documentary tells the real story of Champa Pal who lives in rural Uttar Pradesh, a very poor region in India. She was left destitute when her husband was murdered and her land stolen, and only when she joined the all-woman Gulabi Gang was she was finally able to begin reclaiming her life. The documentary was deliberately directed in an elegant cinematic style with a candid documentary style narrative that encapsulated not only the incredible story but also the beautiful backdrop of each country.
