Brief Explanation

Many wonderful things in Kuwait are taken for granted. Yet, it is those who live far away that notice, appreciate, and miss them most. For the occasion of Kuwait's National Day, we have filmed Kuwaitis abroad expressing the little things that they miss.

Creative Execution

Our brief was simple, we had to shoot actual Kuwaiti students studying and living abroad, we had to shoot real Kuwaitis not models or actors and we had to shoot all over the world across multiple continents with a very limited budget. It was very challenge to how to convince the Kuwaitis to film with us. like any other gulf country Usually It's very difficult to convince Kuwaitis to act on tv. We started contacting various Kuwaiti students abroad who were in-charge of various student-bodies and clubs within various universities and colleges, mainly in the US and the UK. We briefed them about our beautiful idea and asked them to provide us with a list of every single Kuwaiti person they knew that was living abroad. We had to go through a massive list, through each and every name and through a very long process of trial and error to get our final cast ready , it was very challenging to convince them to act specially when they know that they have to sing. We were extremely worried about the call time and punctuality of the cast on the shooting days as they were normal people and they have commitments.
