Execution
Background:
Oreo turned 100 in 2012! The client brief was to celebrate this milestone with a special something that was unique, inclusive and befitting of such an occasion. We decided to bring a little modern twist to the biscuit that for generations has had all of us twisting, licking and dunking.
Idea:
We created an Oreo QR code. Made up of 420 Oreos, this special build ambient not only held a larger QR code than any before but also had the distinction of being the tastiest. When scanned, the code would lead to Oreo’s 100 year website where people could leave Oreo their birthday wishes and watch Oreo’s birthday vignette.
Results:
Our unique outdoor innovation surprised and delighted the city. And very soon, birthday wishes poured in from Oreo lovers all around Dubai.
Oreo’s birthday had become everybody’s celebration.
